About using LLMs in my posts
Yeah, I know, everyone is using LLMs and me is not an exclusion, but…
I think you would not be interested in reading this blog knowing that it was generated by ChatGPT — you can do it yourselves with carefully crafted prompt. And I do not want to make content only for content itself — I want to share with you cool new findings and knowledge I stubled upon intead of working on my blog popularity. For that purpose I have my LinkedIn😄
So I want to be fair with you — all my content is mainly generated by me, or at least verified. I want my own LMFAOs and LOLs in my blog. It does not mean I will not use LLM for preparing posts at all though, but be sure — I know what I am writing about. No unverified Cursor generated code snippets🤝
Let’s accept the fact that LLMs are the new search engines. That’s why I created these lists of DO’s and DONT’s regarding AI usage during posts writing.
DO’s✅
- I might use LLM to dig info about some topic;
- I might ask LLM to generate catchy description;
- I might ask LLM on some trends and verify correctness of info;
- I might use LLM to generate images for blog;
DONT’s⛔️
- I will not generate entire content of blog post using LLM;
- I will not generate code snippet with LLM which I did not understand and test myself;
- I will not ask LLM to retell someone’s else article and present it as my own post;
- I will not generate fake images / videos;
Afterword
That’s it! I hope you agree with my rules of using LLMs and will enjoy human-generated content!🤓
